While my family and I were going to Tagaytay City, we stopped over in Silang, Cavite and we spotted a roadside coconut shop. Philippines is blessed with lots of coconuts. The biggest proof of that is that coconut pies are much more popular than apple pies. These coconut pies are usually sold in southern Tagalog provinces like Cavite, Batangas and Los Banos. Philippine fruit salads are normally contain coconuts with cream.
Last month, I had an opportunity to go to Cebu. Even though I only stayed there for 2 days and 1 night, I had a very nice time. It made me temporarily forget the trip pass privilege from my previous employer...
I just couldn't resist to place another entry.
What was very interesting during this phase is that I got a taste of education from different worlds, namely:
- a Philippine Catholic school (Lourdes School of Mandaluyong);
- an Australian Public school (Randwick School); and
- an Australian Catholic school (St Brigid's).
Since yesterday, seven of my first degree Friendster friends have announced that they have blogs. I hope I get to see some blog entries in them. Is this be the sign of the mainstream Philippine blog explosion? This is the second wave of innovations that Friendster has launched to lure more registrations. My friends have properly configured their blogs, so they only lack the momentum to start writing an entry.
