It's really great that the Spurs have finally won. After Derek Fisher's 0.6 second-buzzer beater last year, I was pretty determined that the Spurs will win the next time around. The Brent Barry joined the team, with mid-season acquisitions of Nazr Mohammed and Glenn Robinson bolstered their bench. Then there was the two ankle injuries of Tim Duncan that made me doubt if they could go all the way.
What is the key to Spurs victory? Unexpectedly, it was their three-point shooting that helped them get their wins. Take note of the two Spurs blow outs. Also take note the awakening of "Big Shot Rob" in game 5. Two three pointers in the fourth quarter of game 7 was the cushion they needed to clinch the title. Hats of to Ginobili, Parker, Bowen, Barry, Udrih for their three pointers!
With their performance against the Pistons and the Suns. I have total confidence in them to claim back-to-back titles.
